Anatomy Physiology Revealed
Studying for a big exam can be frustrating. When I passed the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam After studying only 2 months, I decided to share my advice about how I did. Here is a summary of my method of study.
You must purchase study materials. I bought the minimum considered necessary hardware and includes manual, study guide, practice test and a practical test online complementary.
Start with Chapter 4 of the manual. The reason is that the first 3 chapters of the anatomy, physiology and kinesiology can be overwhelming. I started the chapter on nutrition and end with the First 3 chapters.
Answer the corresponding questions in the study guide after reading each chapter. The study guide will be useful to you, lest they have not read the manual in the test before the test.
After traveling throughout the book and study guide Back to vocabulary the end of each chapter and write the definitions. There is a glossary at the end of the manual for help with this. Writing helps to improve the learning process.
Now then the practical test and simulation of problems that come with the materials. These more than once, even if you've read the answers.
Do this online practice test. When you take, print the results. There will be explanations for each answer and is another tool for the study of great value.
Go through the book, study, counseling and testing third times. It will go much faster now that you understand the material.
Review the forms you need to learn how the Karvonen formula and calculation of body fat percentage. Practice your hand calculations with pencil and paper because you can not use a calculator for the exam.
The week before exam to take a few relaxing days. Your mind may need time to digest all this material. Then go a little more of its major points of facts and formulas, just days before the test.
When you take the exam, read each question carefully without taking much time in each question. You should be able to eliminate 2 of the 4 choices from multiple options. If you do not absolutely know the answer guess.
